And yes, I’ve been cooking …lots. Problem is the food gets eaten before a decent picture is taken. I’ve made Rasa Malaysia’s chicken satay complete with peanut sauce twice in the past week and each time we think about taking a picture, the hungry minions get restless, so we say "forget it!"
I did manage to wangle that stir fry lesson from my friend’s aunt…nearly forgot to take a picture of that too but remembered just in the nick of time. I don’t have a recipe for you yet. You know how we don’t measure ingredients much in Asian cooking, it’s always a little of this and a little of that. But I will get you a coherent recipe of this soon. In the meantime, enjoy the picture, and yes it’s the best darn tasting stir-fry ever!

And no, this has not become a blog about Asian cooking. It just happened to be my mood lately.

Very nice! You could teach me a thing or two about photographing stir fry dishes. When I try and do it, it always looks like a mess of food, so I always give up and post about something else!
I have been having the same problem lately! Baking, but no time for pictures!
A delicious looking stir-fry! Nice combo!
Cheers,
Rosa
What a gorgeous picture. Nice composition. Looks delicious, I’m getting hungry and it’s 2 am…

Well, if that doesn’t look like the “best darn tasting stir-fry ever!“ I am so bad at taking pictures. Yours always look so enticing.
P.S. I don’t measure either. I think it’s one of the reasons I don’t bake:)
great to have read some of your lovely asian creation from your awesome kitchen and I can understand why thos tasters can’t wait because your food is always delicious!
I have been in the mood for Asian cooking too. And I have been adding chili sauce to everything. Looks delicious!
