Before anything -- congratulations on your gorgeous cupcakes appearing in the wedding magazine! Well deserved indeed as they are truly fit for a beautiful bride
Secondly -- Yay!!! I can finally join a contest!
So for the macarons, I would pick chocolate with espresso buttercream and hazelnut with salted caramel. For the cupcakes I would pick chocolate-chocolate glaze and vanilla with vanilla rum buttercream! Although of course, all sounds absolutely delicious!
I have not always been a fan of Martha Stewart. Especially after the very memorable Daring Baker Crepe Cake fiasco that is now known as the Crap Cake. But when I was researching packaging for my little Petites Bouchees business, I was very impressed with her style, colors, and the overall elegance of her products.
I have her Martha Stewart magazine issue where she featured cupcakes on the cover and I must say her recipes and pictures are indeed inspiring. There really is no secret recipe to cupcakes (sounds like Kung fu panda), but a cupcake allows you be as creative or as simple as you want it to be. And knowing the Martha, her new book will be chock full of her fantastic ideas.
So, I want you all to join in on the fun. I am giving away 2 copies of Martha Stewart's Cupcakes, because I want to whisk up some nostalgic joy these summer months! All you have to do is leave a comment between now and June 12th and state what you would do to decorate or what you would like to have on a cupcake. It might be a simple swirl of buttercream, a dollop of whipped cream topped with a plump raspberry, it could be anything! And yes, I’ll be shipping worldwide!

I have not always had luck with Martha Stewart recipes, but if I were to have a cupcake, I'd love some whipped cream and fresh fruit.
On my cupcake I would like some chocolate ganache , cherry and some marzipan too
Nice giveaway!
I like my cupcakes pretty and not too fussy. A dark chocolate cupcake with pistachios, covered in a simple buttercream and sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes. Yummy!
What a great giveaway!! I think my ideal cupcake would be topped with a cloud-like swirl of cream cheese frosting.
It tastes perfect no matter what flavor the cupcake is!
Sweet. I think my favourite is a dark chocolate whipped ganache, with a white chocolate hand modelled decoration!!
Ah yes that lovely crap cake but the crapes that I made after that have been a wonder!
A cupcake, what would I want on it. Icing. Cream cheese icing on carrot cake cupcake. I'm simple.
I love when cupcakes are iced with a swirl of trinted buttercream using a large plain icing tip. It's more effort for me, but it makes them look so cute. (Even though I usually end up with a few decorating causalities that alas, I must force myself to eat. Yum yum!)
I like my cupcakes topped with a swirl of buttercream! I just made some the other day that were stuffed with strawberries and had lime buttercream on top and were garnished with a small strawberry!
i like to make faces out of different adornments corny but fun
I would like a white cake cupcake topped with a whipped Cream cheese frosting and fresh blackberries and raspberries. I'd also like a dense fudgey chocolate cupcake with peanut-butter frosting, topped with crushed Butterfinger candy bar pieces – YUM!
I would love to have a buttercream frosting on my cupcake. I have tried repeatedly to make buttercream frosting but it never turns out quite right. This looks like a great cookbook. Thanks for the giveaway.
Caramel cupcake with chocolate frosting. OR, maybe chocolate cupcake with caramel frosting!!
)
Thank you for this giveaway
I've been looking forward to this cookbook! I would love to decorate a cupcake with a big yellow sunflower! Thanks for hosting a great giveaway!
wow! I had been a Martha fan since we started blogging and a lso a great fan of yours, Veronica's Test Kitchen and you are such a darling too!
I would love to have a simple swirl of lightly flavoured buttercream especially peanut butter and top with some awesome dark chocolate flakes!
Hi Veronica! I would love to have a Dulce de Leche filling in my Dark Chocolate or Vanilla Cupcake topped with an Espresso Buttercream (Swiss Meringue type)! Yummyy! Thanks for the giveaway..I'm a big fan of your blog!
I would go for Dark chocolate ganache, whipped, piped on top of the cupcake.
Thanks for your generosity!
i have tried many recipes- her best are the deserts..and would love to learn how to make beautiful cupcakes with simple things and swirls and twirls that make people ohh and ahh
I ALMOST ordered her cupcake cookbook the other day, but alas… I did not. I'm cupcake obsessed. I'd love to do a cupcake with salted caramel buttercream. To me, the frosting is the best part
ohhh me me me please.
best frosting, so far this month, ha ha is a salty marscapone that I came up with, but have yet to blog about.
Mmmm! Buttercream or cream cheese frosting on any flavor cupcake!!
im a simple girl. i like a nice amount of buttercream, just enough to compliment the cake and some sprinkles or sparkling sugar.
I want to make some sort of homemade strawberry cupcake with a gigantic swirl of fluffy pink icing.
I can't seem to get enough of these; orchestrate get togethers as an excuse to made dessert! Chocolate Espresso Cake with White Chocolate-Mascarpone Frosting (whipping cream, mascarpone cheese, white chocolate and espresso powder). Makes a great cupcake topping; just swirl a dollop on top using a serrated tip…so good. Recipe for cake is online; I've helped my daughter with the cake, but made mini cupcakes a couple of times; they just bake for 10 minutes and after frosting…disappear!

I think my favorite combination is rich moist chocolate cake with homemade cream cheese frosting! YUM!
My summer cupcake:
A dark chocolate rum cupcake with a mojito topping: A lightly flavored lime frosting with a mint leaf on top.
Can't wait to try this!
oooh, carrot cake w/ cream cheese icing (and the requisite iced carrot decoration!). Thanks for the chance to win Martha's book.
great giveaway! I think I like whipped icing – nice and simple!
I like Martha Stewart colors and decorating style more than her kitchen skills.I like my cupcakes toped with whipped cream and decorated with frech fruit and toasted nuts.
chocolate cupcake and chocolate frosting never fails to impress
Cream cheese frosting is my topping of choice – swirling with a pastry tip optional. I must admit, I tend to be skeptical of Martha Stewart, but that book looks wonderful!
Wow! That's so nice of you!! I love Cupcakes, and specially love cookbooks, so if I win this I will be very happy!
I love your blog! You have a great talent.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm sorry, I forgot to say what I would like on a cupcake! I love Nutella on chocolate cupcakes. Is delicious!
Martha works wonders. I'd go with a vanilla cake w/honey lavender cream cheese frosting, white chocolate shavings on top.
I made one of Martha's cupcake recipes for Easter. They turned out SO CUTE! I made the nesting baby bluebird cupcakes. I would make them again in a heartbeat! They looked SO CUTE on the cupcake stand I have. Thank you for having such a great site! I enjoy your tweets! :0) (get the **TRUE** tie in!)
I would love to eat a banana cupcake with nutella filling and topped with a caramel frosting. Second on my list would be a chocolate cupcake with a dulce de leche filling and frosted with chocolate ganache.
Thanks for hositng this give-away and more power to you and your wonderful blog!
Have a blessed day!
I'd freeze the cupcake, then dip it in a chocolate coating that hardens, then I would sprinkle with edible galmour dust.
I'd love to have a raspberry hiding inside the cupcake, with swirly lemon-zest flavoured cream cheese frosting and another raspberry on top.
I would like to try a vegan carrot cake with a cream-cheese type topping with carmalized carrots as a garnish! Pretty AND yummy
Love a cherry on top! Thanks
Looks like a delicious book!
My nephew has been asking for a soccer cupcakes so I'd love to figure out how to get that pattern on some!
Oh, this one is easy. Give me a vanilla cupcake with a rosette of vanilla cream cheese icing piped on top. Heaven, indeed.
I love cupcakes that are delicate and melt in your mouth moist. I prefer the frosting to not overpower and drown out the cake. So a simple buttercream is my favorite!
Hmm…I think I'd like a peach cupcake with a big swirl of mango buttercream frosting.
OH MY!!!! I can't believe it!!! I won!!!!!! I'm so thrilled….yaaaaaay!!!
Oh Veron I'm so kilig and happy!
You made my day!
As early as now I am going to think already of what cupcakes to make that will be worthy of the liners….
Yay again! Weeeee!!!
My two favorite toppings are cream cheese icing and chocolate….I don't see how you can go wrong w/ either one!!
I usually just use plain frosting, but now I'm wondering if you could make a meringue cookie, and somehow use that? Or maybe I just want a lemon meringue cupcake, and you could just finish the top with a blowtorch, which I'm pretty sure I saw on Martha lately.
Chocolate buttercream and chocolate sprinkles!!
I like 7 minute frosting on any kind of cupcake. It's so light and almost whipped cream like, but sweeter and more substantial. Then I would put some kind of decoration on the frosting, like a sugar flower, or coconut flakes or even sprinkles, depending on what kind of cupcake it is. I love that issue of Martha Stewart's magazine with the cupcakes, I'm on a mission to make each one of them. I'm about halfway through, but I got sidetracked and haven't made many new cupcakes lately… I need to finish my "cupcake countdown"
Tabby, I make those too! They are SOOO yummy!
I am a huge fan of coffee cupcakes with hazelnut buttercream or chocolate cupcakes with passion fruit buttercream. Yum!
