Sorry, no Daring Baker’s challenge completed – it was quite hectic this past month. Anyway, I’m blogging from San Francisco so this is going to be short. I’m here visiting with friends who just moved to this beautiful city and to attend a class by the maestro of Italian Renaissance cooking – Giuliano Bugialli (more on that soon).
Ofcourse , I can’t resist doing some cupcake tasting – I didn’t realize that can be such a hard job! (this shots were taken from the "Hungry" hubby’s camera phone). Here are some from Kara’s cupcakes:
And me tucking into one …
The cupcakes were pretty to look at but I’m not that impressed with the taste. The frosting is quite tasteless and leaves an annoying film on my lips. Oh well…on to the next cupcakes…

Ummm. . . me thinks I must update my rss for you.
Obviously you're having a great time.
You are sooooo lucky!!!!
I hope your having a great time in SF!!
Hope you're having a blast in SF. I know what you mean about tasteless cupcakes- there are too many of them out there.
Hope to see you on the next DB challenge!
xoxo
gosh! we also did not do any daring baking for this month as was too busy with other things in the kitchen! I was thinking to read yours! lol! guess we are both busy as ever! xxx
Have a blast in SF! I'm so excited to hear about that cooking class!
You are excused.
Looks like you are having fun!
Hope you are having a blast in SF!!
Much more fun to be in SF, taking a class, and sampling cupcakes — oh, the hardships of being a professional baker!!! Enjoy!
Sorry you missed the party, but your reason was excellent. Enjoy the trip!
That's too bad you didn't like Kara's Cupcakes… when I was there in September, the Fleur de Sel cupcake was extraordinary. I completely agree about Miette and Citizen Cake though! So jealous you're in SF!
No way! Yours are much prettier. I can’t believe you had the nerve to eat those fake things.
