This indeed is one of the best cookies yet. As you eat it, just like a good aged red wine, the flavor gets more & more intense and nutty. Before any other dessert from any other book is made, I've put a request in for Hazelnut biscotti! Too much to eat…too little time!

I still have some Nibby Walnut Cookies dough (recipe from Alice's Bittersweet) in the freezer, I think I have to bake a batch later. The recipe is very similar to this one.I have never tried buckwheat flour before, maybe I should just include it in my "to buy list"! Thanks for the recipe!

Oh, wow, I've never used buckwheat flour, but these cookies sound so interesting. And they look so pretty dressed up in their pink ribbons. Very cute!
